Ahhh, I have a feeling Ravenwolf might show up for this one *chuckles*. I really like those, some are just so corny and don't make sense, especially if the actor in one scene is in a green shirt and then the next it's bue/purple/polka-dotted. I think they do this on purpose. But the one like Children of the Corn and Husk, now those were good.

V for Vendetta really touches me, I love the theme, and his vafrous vindicating vendetta against the villainy of vapidity. Because underneath that mask is an idea, and ideas are bulletproof... I was SO pissed off that he died.

Well Syfy mite not have the best movies ever made but they usually have a new movie every week and if they tried to make high budget movies like the big name studios they would not have that many movies. Furthermore if you don't like it then don't watch them and stop complaining.

I'm NOT complaining about them Ravenwolf, I'm just simply saying what's there. I think it's really cool what they do for such a low budget, and like you said to me before about the effects being ten times better than what they were years before. I do like their concepts of the storylines; in fact they're probably the only ones unique in the movie industry.

And who said I didn't like them? I certainly didn't, and while there are some that I absolutely hate, there are others that I really do enjoy, like the Husk movie at parts scared the shit outta me. And I also enjoyed Banshee, a lot more so because parts of it were pretty accurate for a movie.

A lot of the time though, the actors make no sense in the actions that they do. Granted that they do this in most movies, but I find myself more-so wanting to scream at them "What the FUCK are you DOING!?" Or when somebody just *happens* to find a chainsaw in the middle of nowhere. Sometimes I feel that those characters are the luckiest fucking people on the planet. Regardless, this could be said for any movie.

Anywho... Before I anger anymore people... I hated the Eragon movie lol. Nothing like the book. And I loved the LoTR Trilogy because of the opposite, they were everything like the books.

Hmm... Well, I'll admit that SyFy does has the occasional good movie ( I'm trying think of one, give me time!). Others are the standard cliched stuff. I'm not complaining, just so you know. Truth be told, I wonder if they will air Silent Hill: Revelations or if that will go to the silver screen first...

In any case, my Top 5 movies at the moment:

1- How To Train Your Dragon
2- Rio
3- The Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day
4- Zombieland
5- Constantine

These are some good movies, I must say.Cool

Just watched "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" (2011 edition).

It's not good enough to be a favorite. However, it's design for the creatures most be admired. Sound work was good, but harsh, as the screeches were quite disorienting (for me, anyways). Concept is a bit original. I won't say anymore, you need to see for yourself.

Just a word of advice: be prepared for good, but painful, sounds (noise reducing ear buds minus music actually reduce it enough not to be so harsh on ya).
