If this is your first time here, take the time to sign up. It literally takes only a few minutes and it will help the site grow. Sure, you have to sign over your soul, and sacrifice a three-headed goat to the gods of Narheplottemer, but it's well worth it. Alright, so you don't have to do that stuff, but what you *must* do is sign up, seriously, this site gets so much guest traffic it's unbelievable. And I can't have this site grow on guests.

Half-Life. An excellent game. Simple, yet immersive. And a certain mod. Cry of Fear. This mod is a rewritten game code, with new models, animations, enemies, and an excellent Co-Op that never feels old. And it's even scary, dark atmosphere and sounds making it worth a try, even if it is a little hard.

However, with the praise, comes it's faults. I would normally write a review. However, I'm having a lot of problems running the game AND the mod. Both run smoothly one moment and then lag horribly then next. Not only that, but the mod randomly crashes, too. I just updated it, so hopefully it will run better. FYI: I have the settings on the lowest quality for BOTH games, and even windowed it with a reduced screen size. Do I need to update my laptop or something???

Please gives any thoughts, questions, and concerns on the topic. It will help out a lot.
