Sure, you have to sign over your soul, and sacrifice a three-headed goat to the gods of Narheplottemer, but it's well worth it. Alright, so you don't have to do that stuff, but what you *must* do is sign up, seriously, this site gets so much guest traffic it's unbelievable. And I can't have this site grow on guests.

Ya the Fallout games are good and all but don't dismiss Oblivion, at least Oblivion let you continue after you finished the main story line. Fallout 3 and New Vegas both just stop if and when you finish the main story line. What i believe will be better than both of them would be The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Witch comes out 11-11-11. It will add so much, like dual wielding of weapons and spells.

Also a good cheap game would be Two Worlds. It is not as good as Oblivion and Fallout but for less than $10 it is a great game. Its much less glitchy if you get it for the computer over the X-Box 360 version witch is laggy and ugly textures (you can tell it was designed for the PC). It is quite similar in most respects to Oblivion but it has its own twist on things.

Skyrim........ *drools on keyboard* You shall be MINE! Dual Wielding along with multiple dungeons and customization of weaponry and spells! I want a mage class like Gandalf so badass.... Can't wait for the BETA to come out, since I want to sign up for it.

If Skyrim ends up being a directx 11 game I may have to get a new video card because there is some beautiful changes between 10 and 11.

I think that they discontinued support for such an API, and for good reason too, I saw the difference but....... 2.2 Ghz dual core isn't enough to run DX11 Tesselation. I love all of these games, but Oblivion is the best by FAR just because it was so OPEN and you could play after you finished the main quest.....

Oblivion games or just the elder scrolls games are so cool because you can have multiple mods active at the same time, unlike Call of Duty were you can only have one mod on at a time. If only they would add multiplayer just a simple 2 - 4 player coop, it does not need to be a mmo. It would make a great game, the best game.

Don't mean to hijack this thread, but Oblivion Online is still up and running.... It supports 12 players on deathmatch.... Pretty damn good really, all we need is the monster/NPC syncing now.

And anyways, I did like VATS, makes it cool and all, need a VATS for the new Skyrim, should make it pretty cool more magic or arrows, and even melee combat.

In the case of games that let you do what you want, I do like those kinds of games. I enjoy to be the good guy. People sometimes say that 'Games are places for you to do what you normally wouldn't do in reality'. Sure, in GTA I may/may not get a hit-n-run, but in most games I like to try and be the good guy. Smile

Let's face it,

If the members here at TekInsane were to all be in a Virtual Reality GTA... Things wouldn't be pretty. Ravenwolf would be robbing all of the jewelry stores in the vicinity and taking off with all the S10's in the game, Eclipse would be hunting down every Taco Bell in the map calling himself the Burrito Bandit, ZaChiSonoNai would be letting all of the mental institution psychopaths out and organizing raids on the nearest Porn Shops. I would then be going mobster, calling myself the Don-father and destroying social order by arranging hits on all of the shops that sell blue pants and laundering money through Polish laundry...

Just think gentlemen... With all of our combined insanities... We could rule the GTA world... Twisted Evil

* This part has been censored due to cursing while laughing hysterically*

Sure... the 'Burrito Bandit'.... sad thing is that I've never had Taco Bell before.

*tsk* *tsk* Laughing If it were a GTA world, you could just spawn weapons with dialing random numbers on your cell phone, duh! Suspect Flying Rhino Tanks anybody?

And anyhow, before I get too off-topic, Mass Effect 4, 7 3 maybe would be a good example of this, provided you could really change your ship to a black paintjob with flames out the side... The Badass Space Cowboy Ranger! Cool
