psp hack (homebrew)

It depends what version you're running, if you're running a classic 1.5 version (I don't know why you would) or a 5.3/5.5 firmware you're better off seeing this site here.

Be careful about how you hack your PSP, Sony included a trojan in their 2nd 2005 update releases and all ones after that. It's called Trojan.PSPBrick, this is the main culprit for the bricking of your PSP when downgrading, as it would delete critical system files while you *attempted* to downgrade back to the hackable version. This is no longer necessary as there are other versions that can be hacked that are much newer than 1.5.

Hmmm... Unorthodox, but I guess it works. It pisses me off that Sony would place a Trojan in the PSP like that, shows what they really think of modding eh? I'm sorry but if you're a gaming company, learn to face the facts that we WILL hack your console despite how many defenses you put into it. Look at the original Xbox, Microsoft said it would be unhackable, and yet within 2 weeks there it was, funny how the world works...
